We desire to make the installation of your countertop and/or floorcovering product(s) easy and enjoyable from beginning to completion. There are a
few factors to take in mind and guidelines to follow that may help you through the installation process.
- Color and Pattern Matching: If you have a preference for the direction of the pattern on your product, please discuss this with your sales professional before we come to install the product.
- Appliances: If we are going to move them, be sure to remove items from your range and/or refrigerator.
- Grout: Please understand that after a tile floor is installed, it must set for 24 hours before it can be grouted and then you need to wait another 24 hours before walking on it.
|
Here is a list of things to consider before our installer(s) arrives:
|
- Be sure to verify your installation date.
- Remove all "breakables" from the room.
- Determine who will move furniture, appliances, and the sub-floor, if necessary.
- Arrange for the disconnection of gas appliances and ice makers, if necessary.
- Determine if any change to the height of the floor would require adjustments to doors in order for them to work properly.
- Ensure the removal of items in storage areas and closets where the floor is to be resurfaced.
- Make sure the drapes, wall hangings and pictures are removed from the room where the work is to be done.
- Verify that your in-home temperature is appropriate for installation. We recommend above 70 degrees.
- If applicable, be sure to manage safety or alarm systems prior to our arrival or provide the codes and instructions for our use.
- Please be sure there is adequate parking and access to your property.
